Last week I took a look at the most active hotspots for Tameside homeowners; where exactly they were moving to and from. Many of you have been in touch to air surprise, particularly when it comes to the new build developments taking the top spot.
There have been many requests however to break the results down into each town. Having already done the research, I’m all too happy to share what that looks like.
My initial thoughts prior to conducting this research were that the largest roads in the borough (ie, the Stockport Roads, the Manchester Roads, the Mottrom Roads etc) would sweep the competition away for the crown.
It’s safe to say looking at the last ten years then a different picture would be painted; but looking at the last two years and the present to paint an accurate picture of the current happenings in Tameside’s property market, it is clear that new build developments are striking the interest of Tamesiders; with Bridgewater Wharf in Droylsden and Sgt Mark Stansfield Way in Hyde both taking the highest number of home movings.
But when it comes to each respective town, where are their respective hotspots? More importantly, can we recognise from this which towns in Tameside are the ones people are wanting to move to the most?
