A planning application has been submitted to Tameside Council seeking permission for the construction of 4 new residential dwellings, situated on land off Currier Street.
Filed by PSD Construct Ltd, the application shows the potential location for the new dwellings to be situated on a parcel of under-used land, currently occupied by a garage and derelict outbuilding.
The land would be utilised for two types of four, two-storey detached buildings with four bedrooms each. The proposal has been designed in such a way that a minimal number of trees would have to be removed in order to accommodate the new properties.

The development will include two parking spaces per dwelling, alongside three additional visitor parking spaces which will be situated on the access road from Currier Lane.
Due to the small number of dwellings the development comprises of, it is expected that there will be no significant impact to the amount of traffic in the area.
The target date for the decision surrounding the development has been set as 15th August 2018.
