A planning application has been submitted for a range of three and four bedroom properties and apartments to be situated on land off Manchester Road in Audenshaw.
Situated on two vacant areas of land adjacent to Brooks Ltd Factory on Manchester Road, this new development (submitted to approval of course) will see eight, three-bed semi-detached houses, two, four-bed semi-detached houses alongside eight apartments.
The site sits approximately 6km from Manchester city centre, and 3km from Ashton-Under-Lyne town centre, with the nearby Metrolink and frequent busses offering ideal commuting options to either.

The development was previously subjected to a consultation evening back in February, attended by three councillors alongside 35 other individuals. As with many of Tameside’s property developments, this was subjected to mixed opinions with a smaller number of supportive individuals or those indifferent to the proposals.
Consultations are expected to conclude at the start of November, with a target date for the outcome of the planning application due towards the end of December.
